A Helping Hand

2020 was a difficult year for everyone and the recent holiday period undoubtedly placed an even greater strain on those providing support in our local communities.

Recognising this, the partners and staff at Mackinnons have donated funds and van loads full of supplies to a local food bank to try and help those vulnerable and less fortunate members of our society.

It is hoped that the donations made will help the food bank to continue the exceptional work which they do to alleviate the stress faced by individuals and families experiencing “food insecurity” at this particularly difficult time of year.

The fourth quarter statistics from the ASPC for 2023 reflect the challenges our local market has faced over the last year. The quarterly house price change in Aberdeen City and Suburbs is 0.5%, while the annual change is -3.1%. Taken over five years, the index is “marginally positive” at +1.0%.
