Full Description
Enter the property at the front via a partially glazed, hardwood door into a vestibule, which, in turn leads to the main hallway. The main hallway houses a carpeted staircase and leads to the lounge, ground floor bedroom/second lounge, the dining kitchen and the family bathroom.
The lounge is a striking room, featuring a bay window to the front a shelved, arched alcove with storage below and a fitted cupboard. This inviting room gives access to an adjoining sunroom. The dual aspect sunroom benefits from a door to the rear which allows access to a deck. It is a versatile space currently utilised as a sitting room and home office but lends itself to a variety of uses.
Returning to the main hallway, a glazed door connects to the dining kitchen and utility room. The dining kitchen is fitted with a range of light wood effect base and wall units with complementing worktops. The dining area is sufficiently proportioned to allow for the placement of a large table and chairs. The free-standing electric range cooker with extractor fan above is to remain along with a table and chairs (different to the ones shown in the marketing images), dishwasher and fridge. A shelved pantry cupboard with a light provides additional storage. A patio door leads from the dining area to the rear garden, whilst a glazed inner door allows access to the utility room which is conveniently adjacent to the kitchen.
The utility room provides excellent storage, with one of the fitted cupboards housing the water tank. The room benefits from a sink, draining board and work top with space below for a free-standing washing machine and tumble dryer. From the utility room, a door leads out to the side of the house where the rotary clothes dryer is situated.
Across the hallway from the lounge is the ground floor bedroom or second lounge. This is another versatile room with space for free standing storage and furnishings. It features a bay window and a coal fire set on a polished stone hearth with polished stone surround finished with a wooden surround and mantel piece (please note that the fire was swept and capped/closed by the current owner). The fireplace is flanked by two arched alcoves providing shelving and storage.
Completing the ground floor is the four piece bathroom suite comprising a bath with shower attachment, a separate shower cubicle with multi outlet shower tower, a wash hand basin and WC. The room benefits from a heated towel radiator and a charging point. A window and extractor fan provide ventilation.
The carpeted staircase with wooden banister and balustrades ascends to the upper landing where Velux windows to the front and rear flood the staircase and landing with natural light.
There are three bedrooms off the landing. The principal bedroom is to the rear; it is a dual aspect room with fitted wardrobes. It is served by a three-piece en-suite shower room comprising shower cubicle, wash hand basin set in a vanity unit providing storage and WC. There is a heated towel radiator, a window and an extractor fan.
The other two upper floor bedrooms are to the front, one is a double room, and the other is a single room. Both have room for free standing furnishings and both have fitted wardrobes.
