Over 7k Raised for Local Charity

A dedicated team from Mackinnons Solicitors LLP laced up their walking shoes and completed the 18-mile “Mighty Stride” on Sunday 1st June, raising over £7,000 (inc. gift aid) for Friends of Roxburghe House, a local charity providing invaluable support to patients and families affected by life-limiting illnesses.

With spirits high (despite the weather) and tartan proudly on display, the team joined 4700 other walkers in one of Scotland’s most inspiring fundraising events. The funds raised will help Friends of Roxburghe House continue their essential work in providing compassionate care, comfort, and dignity to those in need.

“We’re incredibly proud of our team’s effort and the generosity of everyone who supported us,” said Partner (and participant) Neil Torrance.  “Roxburghe House is a cause close to many hearts in the community, and it was a privilege to walk in support of their inspiring work.”

This year’s Aberdeen Kiltwalk once again demonstrated the power of community spirit, with walkers from all backgrounds uniting to make a meaningful difference to over 517 charities.
