Mackinnons are delighted to be included once again in the Chambers Guide for 2026, a well-respected publication which recognises leading legal talent across the globe.

Our Shipping team remain the only firm outwith the central belt to achieve a Band 2 ranking, and is one of only 5 firms to be ranked so highly. Graham Jones remains ranked as a Band 1 solicitor, with Martin Sinclair ranked at Band 2 and Angus Easton at Band 3.

Angus commented, "We are very happy to be included within the Chambers Guide 2026. Our high rankings are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our whole team and we are proud that this has been recognised once again."

Our Dispute Resolution team also remains ranked in the Personal Injury (Defendant) sector. Martin Sinclair has been promoted to Band 2 and Rachael Bain remains ranked in Band 4.

Martin Sinclair said, "As a firm we are proud to provide a high standard of work to our clients and to have those efforts recognised by Chambers is incredibly rewarding. We value each and every one of our clients and we are very grateful for those that have taken the time to provide their feedback to the Chambers Guide."

Some of the feedback that we received from clients is listed below:

"We appreciate their attention to detail and client commitment; they always respond in a timely fashion and ensure that we are kept updated with key and crucial information."

"Their expertise in this area and their style of communication has always been top notch for us."

"Mackinnons are excellent at handling complex and sophisticated matters. They have deep knowledge and are able to think outside the box to suggest some innovative solutions."

"I've worked with other groups in the past; however, Mackinnons provide a very high level of service in comparison."
