Promotions at Mackinnons

Mackinnons Solicitors are delighted to announce a number of promotions across the firm.

Rachael Bain becomes an Associate within their Dispute Resolution department, Iona Garland is elevated to the role of Senior Solicitor within their Commercial and Marine departments and Fiona McCrorie has been appointed as Leasing Manager in their Residential Leasing department.

Rachael specialises in personal injury, commercial litigation and housing and property tribunal claims.  Aberdeen born, Rachael has now been with the firm for 5 years and has developed a reputation for firm and fair negotiation.

Iona, who originates from Orkney, joined the firm over 3½ years ago and is extensively engaged in vessel purchase and finance work, alongside her corporate and commercial matters. Iona works well within a busy and often complicated area of law where she ably guides clients through the necessary processes.

Fiona has been involved with leasing and property work for many years and attained the Letwell professional qualification earlier this year alongside Rachael. Her experience allows her to offer solutions in the many issues that arise within the field.

Speaking of the three appointments, partner Martin Sinclair said:-

“It is a pleasure to announce these well deserved promotions from within.  Rachael, Iona and Fiona each fully embrace the firm’s aim to deliver a high quality and friendly service for our clients.  On behalf of the firm, I congratulate them all as they continue to develop their legal careers here within Mackinnons. We are proud to have them within the team.”
