Mackinnons Top-Ranked in Scotland by Chambers UK

Mackinnons Top-Ranked in Scotland by Chambers UK

We are delighted to announce that the firm has once again been awarded top ranking in Scotland for Shipping Law by Chambers UK, the well-respected independent publication which each year assesses the leading players in the UK legal sector. We are also ranked highly by Chambers for our Health & Safety work.

What is extremely pleasing is that although only 5 individual solicitors in Scotland are top-ranked in the Shipping category 3 of the 5 are partners in Mackinnons. Keith MacRae is joined in the top bracket by Graham Jones and Bruce Craig. Bruce is also ranked highly in the Health & Safety category.

Charles Scott, Senior Partner in Mackinnons, said:-

“We are extremely pleased and proud to be top-ranked once again by Chambers UK. This does reflect our pre-eminent position in the Shipping legal sector in Scotland. For there only to be 5 solicitors in Scotland ranked in the top bracket and for 3 of them to be with our firm is particularly pleasing. We are also delighted to receive such a strong ranking in the Health & Safety category. The recognition by such a prestigious publication as Chambers UK is, we feel, only fair and gives us a springboard for the continued success of our business of which Shipping and Health & Safety law form very important parts. 2014 has once again been a very busy year for the firm across all parts of our business.”
