Mackinnons mark 175th anniversary with pledge to give something back

Mackinnons (formerly L Mackinnon and Son) marks its 175th year in business in 2017.  In tandem with the firm’s celebrations we have elected to embark upon a year long fund-raising campaign with all monies raised being donated to this year’s designated charity, The Fishermen’s Mission. http://www.fishermensmission.org.uk/

Mackinnons has its roots in fishing and marine law and we have a long tradition of working with, and supporting The Mission and other sea related charities and groups.  In our anniversary year, rather than divide up the funds we raise annually throughout our various offices, we have decided to pledge our support to The Fishermen’s Mission, a charity which, since its inception has provided huge amounts of emergency support and care on various levels to fishermen and to their families.

All Partners, support staff and their families will be invited to join in the fund-raising campaign and we hope that our clients and other contacts within the business industry will also join with us both to celebrate our anniversary year and also to contribute to raising as much money as possible for the charity.  Further details of events, activities and opportunities to contribute will follow throughout the year.
