Changes to the Registration of Charges at Companies House

New regulations shall come into force on 6th April this year in respect of the registration of charges at Companies House, replacing the existing regulations under the Companies Act 2006.

The main aim of the new provisions is to streamline the registration process and introduce one scheme for all UK registered companies.  The hope is to provide greater certainty as to the charges which must be registered and the process of registration.
